Twenty years from now, I am gonna look back and remember that you were that one person who could turn every frown into a smile in a few simple words: that person who lifted my head when i was losing faith in myself, that one person who carried tears on her shoulders after every fight, every break up, every death. I want to tell you how much I admire you for being able to do almost everything: prepared us for school, do household chores, do the budgeting, planned for our 18th birthdays, covered up for us when we need to sneak (for you know that Tatay won’t allow us), for listening to our whines and for giving us sound advice whenever we need one, for being patient with us, and most of all, for unconditionally loving us and our kids. Mahal na mahal ka namin Nay. At gusto naming malaman mo na hindi kami magsasawang pasalamatan ka at mahalin ka habangbuhay. You’re the best Nanay! God bless you always!

There is simply no way we can ever really thank mom for all she has done for us. She's awake all night when we are sick, praying to God to make us well and be ever ready to bear the pain that we may be experiencing. She is the one who wakes up early in the morning to make our breakfast, and complain that we are not eating enough or not eating right. She would take pains to complete our school projects, leaving all other tasks behind while we play around with friends or just while away time watching movies. And on this special day, I know that no words could ever say how much we are thankful in having you as our mom. Happy Mothers Day, Mommy!!! We love you so much!

Hi mom! We've been through alot. I always knew it was a defense mechanism for both of us because we are too similar - same values, personality, beliefs, strengths and even weaknesses - that's why we didn't get along that much when dad was still alive. We've fought and hurt each other. But as years passed, so many things have changed. There is only but one wish I keep praying for: that God would give me enough time to make it up to you, that I may have the chance to express how much I really love you. And I thank God for answering my prayers. I promised myself that I would make the most of our time together, and now, we're even closer than I used to be with dad. The loving things you do for us - cooking during our Sunday visits, taking care of your grand children - I never really thought you could be this cool!
