Her Business: Momtrepreneur Enterprises. We sell baby clothes and accessories. We also carry mommy and baby products like nursing covers, binders, bra extenders, body care products, milk storage bags, baby bottle cleansers, organic baby products, and more from other mompreneurs.

Her Inspirations: My children and my husband inspire me in everything I do. I have always been a serial entrepreneur, but giving birth to another baby after nine years inspired me to get into the business of fun and innovative products for babies and children. I chose the name “Momtrepreneur” because I’m a mommy entrepreneur. My logo is a mom with lots of arms to juggle all mommy duties and business obligations.

Her Competitive Edge: My products are fun yet functional. We do personalized gift items and clothing for kids, moms, and dads as well. Early next year, I will be coming out with two new kiddie travel essentials products. I also have the Momtrepreneur Academy, a series of seminars on different kinds of businesses mommies can get into like events planning, balloon/ floral arrangement, soap and cologne making, creative writing, accounting, foodcart biz, and more.

On Balancing Work Time With Family Time: I would like to say that it’s just a matter of time management and scheduling, but truthfully, my daily schedule is usually chaotic and tiring. But seeing my kids at the end of the work day and seeing my family enjoy the dinner I’ve made is truly satisfying. A hot shower and a glass of wine before bedtime help too!

Advice for Aspiring Mompreneurs: Nothing is easy, but if you are determined to succeed you should do everything you can to reach your goal. I live by the saying, “A loser says, ‘it might be possible but it’s too difficult.’ While a winner says, ‘It may be difficult but it’s possible.” Just don’t forget that, at the end of the day, your family is the most important thing.

Where to Buy: Log on to http://momtrepreneur1.multiply.com. Watch out for our products in different bazaars and in major stores on the first quarter of 2010 (and hopefully our own shop too!).
