Congratulations to the five lucky winners of three-month subscriptions to Playhouse Disney, for answering the question “What preschool activity sheets would you like to see on Playhouse Disney?”:
1. Marianne Cristine Torres – “How about some toddler/kiddie snack recipes that will enable the kids to try out new foods while helping their moms prepare them? And also, some sticker badges that say "I helped putting my toys away today!", or "I've eaten all my veggies", or "Proud to say I'm a good girl/boy today", something like those paper stars that teachers give to preschoolers, it's a something that parents could give to their kids as a sign of appreciation for their little milestones.”
2. Cheryl Novencido – “We would love to see some recycling activities for kids, wherein they will be given step-by-step instructions on how to reuse their "trash". Maybe it would be better to feature different Playhouse Disney characters in every issue.”
3. Krystelle Ignacio – “One of my daughter's favorite things to do is a preschool art activity. Since she loves Little Einsteins, I'd like to see an activity which our kids can dress up (using cut and paste) these playhouse disney characters with different clothes depending on the magazine's featured country. Might as well put some information, trivia and facts on the activity page. In this way, we let our kids enjoy the creative process as well as help them learn and appreciate different cultures and traditions. We can promote multicultural awareness and self esteem with this early childhood education activities.”
4. Roselyn L. Madriaga – “My four year old son loves puzzles. I would like to sugggest that you include also a three or four dimensional puzzles or more reflecting the different Disney characters for each side of the puzzles. My son also loves singing why not consider a page for a picture song. In this way they do not only learn the song but at the same time learn to read through pictures!”
5. Noilyn Yao – “kids love tinkering and exploring their imagination. it would help them become more creative and analytical if you could incorporate activity sheets with coloring cut-outs, which could be transformed into something like a box, train, car, house, etc. kids would design it by coloring the activity sheet before asking elders to cut it out.”
