The Mompreneur: Annie Chua-Manrique
Her Business: Little Annie Kidzline
The Idea: Little Annie Kidzline was born in the winter of 2008. I started this business out of a very practical reason: to feed my children. I did some research, read business and investment books, and browsed the Internet until one night while having supper, I snapped my fingers and said, ‘That’s it! I’ll sell infant and children’s clothing.’ I have four daughters that I like to dress up and thought my experience as a mom would be useful in selling children’s clothes.
On Her Products: Little Annie Kidzline can provide you with high quality, organic, unique and stylish children’s clothes for babies and toddlers, footwear and accessories. We also carry suits and dresses for special occasions such as baby showers, baptisms, communion, graduation, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and other special days. We carry products for newborn up to 14 years old. We will launch our own non-toxic soft sole baby shoes and squeaky shoes by July 2010.
On Why They’re Unique: We provide eco friendly children’s clothes. The uniqueness of our business comes with one word: Organic. All our products help save the environment. The products we sell are what new moms and dads would need for their youngsters when it comes to clothing. We want to make sure they have the right apparel to protect their sensitive skin from the unpredictable weather we are currently experiencing.
