On my fifth month, I finally breathed a sigh of relief that I was finally showing my pregnancy. Before this, I was going through the awkward is-she-pregnant-or-did-she-just-get-fat look. I didn't need to adjust my jeans yet but my belly was slowly getting bigger. I'm sure people were wondering but were just too polite to ask. I guess this stage still beats the awkward after-birth look when people assume that you're still pregnant (it's heartbreaking, really).
Time to Wear My Belly Belt and Belly Bliss Band Again
Two of the most sulit things I got for my first pregnancy was a Belly Belt and a Belly Bliss Band.
The Belly Belt is a clothing accessory for preggy moms that allows them to wear their buttoned down jeans (or any pants with buttons) without having to buy maternity jeans anymore. The belt helps a preggy mom expand her existing jeans (or pants) all the way up to her ninth month. It comes with four sets of belts (2 sizes button ups, 2 sizes of slides) and three fabric panels (black, blue, white) to match a mom's pants. I'm already wearing the first set!

This Belly Belt is available at MommyMatters.multiply.com. It costs Php 1,100 but it's very versatile and worth your money.
The Belly Bliss band is "transition tube" that helps a mom wear her existing shirts and blouses because the band covers her expanding belly. Your existing shirts and blouses won't look bitin with this band. You'll also get a cool layered look while you're wearing it. I just bought a black one, though. Hmmm. Maybe it's time to buy other colors? Sulit naman, right? What's great about it is: I can also use the Belly Bliss band after I give birth because it's the perfect cover-up for breastfeeding as well. I can wear it with any shirt or blouse, lift it up to breastfeed and still get to cover my belly while I'm at it.

This Belly Bliss Band is available at Fabnaima.multiply.com. Each transition tube costs Php 250 only. You can also buy a set in different colors
