Your child is in preschool learning his ABC's, 123's, interacting with other kids and tying his shoelaces by himself. In no time, he will be turning the milestone towards becoming the big kid who's ready for the big school, and you are probably more nervous than he is! If test taking, reading, conversing with adults, confidence and independence are some of your concerns about entering the big school, here are some supplementary programs (aside from his preschool classes) that may give your soon-to-be grade schooler a headstart:
Test-taking
AHEAD Prep Test Entrance Review – Familiarizes your child with the guidelines and effective test-taking techniques for admission to the big school.

Adarna Klasrum for Kids – A Book-Making Workshop during summer break teaches kids the process of making a book from creating their own story, forming narratives for each scene to illustrating the pages.

Confidence and Independence
The Little Gym's Developmental Gymnastics Program – Helps children ages 6 months through 12 years build physical, mental, emotional and social skills.

My Talent Summer Workshops – Courses for kids focus on areas such as music, theater, street dance, commercial/fashion modeling, concert pop performance and voice lessons giving them an opportunity to discover their talents, develop their self-esteem and socialization skills.
