If you're looking for an easy snack to much on this weekend, try exprimenting with tortilla wraps. There are so many flavorful combinations you can whip up and pair with this light yet filling treat.
1. Pesto-curry, egg, and apple Mix 3 tablespoons mayo, 1 teaspoon prepared pesto, and 1/4 teaspoon curry powder. Divide mayo mixture, 2 hardboiled eggs, quartered, 1 cup loosely packed lettuce leaves, and 8 apple slices between tortillas. Roll and slice. Serves 4
2. Basil, sardine, and salsa Divide 6 basil leaves, 4 Spanish sardines in oil, and 1/4 cup tomato salsa between 2 tortillas. Roll and slice. Serves 4
3. Brocolli, cheese, and luncheon meat Divide 1 cup roughly chopped steamed broccoli florets, 1/4 cup grated Edam cheese, and 10 luncheon meat strips between 2 tortillas. Roll and slice. Serves 4
TIP: Heat tortillas on a preheated nonstick pan until soft and warm, about 10 seconds per side.
