• Chicken Carbonara for Babies 10 Months and Up

    A healthier version of the classic carbonara.

    Ingredients:

    • Olive oil for frying
    • 2 pieces chicken breast
    • Spaghetti noodles (cooked according to package instructions)
    • 1 small chopped onion
    • 1 can sliced mushrooms (optional)
    • 1 big can evaporated milk
    • 1 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in little water
    • Chopped parsley
    • 3 tomatoes seeded and chopped into small pieces
    • 250 ml all purpose cream

     

    Procedure:

    1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan.
    2. Cook the chicken breast until lightly browned. 
    3. Put chicken in blender and process until chopped.
    4. In the same pan, saute onions, parsley, tomatoes, and mushrooms. 
    5. Add chicken. Season with pepper.
    6. Whip milk and cream and pour to sautéed mixture. Add cornstarch to thicken sauce.
