• Oatmeal Pancake

    (Serves 8 pancakes, 50 grams each)

    • 1/3 cup liquid skim milk
    • ½ cup instant oatmeal
    • ½ cup cake flour
    • 1¼ tsps. baking powder
    • 6 tbsps. brown sugar
    • 2 pcs. egg white, beaten
    • ¼ cup white beans, boiled and mashed
    • 2½ tbsps. melted margarine

     

    Directions:
    Pour milk over oatmeal and let stand for five minutes. Sift together flour, baking powder, and sugar. Stir egg whites into oatmeal. Add dry ingredients, beans, and margarine; mix well to make a smooth batter. Pour 1/3 cup of the batter into slightly greased pan. Turn over pancakes when bubbles form. Cook until golden brown.
