Wash potato and carrot very well. Peel and cut into chunks of about the same size.
In a sauce pan, cook vegetables until tender.
Drain and mash or pass through a blender or food processor.
You may add butter to the mixture for more flavor or breast milk or infant formula as you serve it to your baby.

Carrots, on the other hand, are very rich in vitamins A and C. They are a wonderful source of beta-carotene. They also contain vitamins B3 and B6, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium.
