Throwing a get-together party this holiday season? If you want something yummy and tasty for dessert, but also something personal and made with love (hint: do-it-yourself, a.k.a. homemade), try this super easy recipe. You can even call on the kids for help--yes, it's that easy to make!
Makes 30 balls
Here's what you'll need:
1 2/3 cups white chocolate 2 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup cream 1/4 cup chopped toasted nuts
1 Using a double boiler or microwave, melt white chocolate chips, butter, and cream.
2 Add chopped toasted nuts and stir until mixture is smooth. Cool. Stir mixture until thick and pliable.
3 Roll spoonfuls into balls then roll in coconut flakes. Repeat procedure for the chocolate version using semisweet chocolate chips instead of white chocolate and roll in almond slices. Place on a tray lined with baking paper and refrigerate for an hour or until firm.
