Who doesn't love cakes? And when they're as lovely as this fresh cream cake from Tous Les Jours (P498), you'll get every peso's worth. I had the privilege of interviewing the owner of this Korean bakery for Smart Parenting's April issue, and she had me bring home this creation!

I am so thankful for whoever invented macarons. And when they're infused with the finest of teas, all the more! During the launch of TWG Tea Salon in Greenbelt, we were able to try these delightful fares. Each macaron is priced at P50.

One of my favorite treats when going out are the churros con chocolate from Dulcinea (P98). Crispy on the outside, I always get a kick every time I dip each teardrop-shaped delight into hot, gooey chocolate.

Ever since I was a child, jelly ace has always brightened my days. Especially when you stick them in the fridge for a bit then pop them in your mouth on especially hot days. Just like these Hello Kitty ones! They're available at convenience stores and grocery stores.

One of my best feel-good food discoveries in the last year were the cheese rolls from Mary Grace Cafe (P35). They are heavenly. I personally recommend you have them toasted and pair them with their tsokolate de batirol.

A few years ago, a friend of mine cheered me up by buying me these sugary squares in Megamall. They're from a store called Roli's Napoleones, a popular delicacy filled with custard and glazed on top. And at P17 per piece, it's a keeper.
