The best clothing store for me is…
Mosaic. It’s very easy clothing. For my kid it’s Gingersnaps.

The kind of music that I listen to is…
We like Glenn Miller. We also like ambient music for sunset cocktail. So, that’s our life – brunch and sunset cocktail are the most important.

The best compliment I’ve received is…
My husband telling me that I’m beautiful.

The best recipe that I cook is…
My own rustic Puttanesca, and Tom Yum (soup).

My shortcut to feeling beautiful is…
Good skin care. If your skin is good and you start with a good canvas, everything else follows. The Future Solution line of Shiseido Works for my skin.

    My instant mood booster is…
My kids, because the energy and the spirit that they have is always fun. When you’re feeling down or tired, just be with your kids and everything is balanced. My plants also are a big mood booster, we’re addicted to plants.

My favorite place for inspiration is…
My house. I travel all the way to my office in Taguig from Tagaytay everyday so I look forward to going home and spending weekends here.

    My most recent purchase was…
I’m about to buy a Prada Saffiano Cuir twin bag in black. It’s a modern classic, it can go from casual to business; also, it’s very versatile [which makes it] a very good investment as well.

The best advice I’ve received is…
To put importance in your relationship with your husband. Don’t neglect it because when the kids see that your husband and you are one -- you love each other, the decisions happen between the two of you, and it’s balanced -- everything follows, they naturally gravitate towards you and they follow you.

When I want to indulge, I…
I get a long massage, and foot and hand pampering services at Nail-a-holics in Nuvali. I really love that place.

I know I’m turning into my mother when...
When I start not caring for myself and just being there for others. My mother was very much like that: very selfless. When I was single, everything was about me and what I was going to achieve. I knew I was turning into my mother when I started turning the focus on the family than on myself.

    You’re a Filipino parent if you ...
If you teach your children to respect the elders, and the kids have a solid relationship with their grandparents.
