  • Moms have the toughest jobs in the world but we usually get more praise and attention for what we do as opposed to our partners. Oftentimes, fathers don’t nearly get enough credit for being fathers. Here are some special ways you can make Father’s Day extra special for your husband.

    1. Make it HIS day.

Do whatever he wants you to do. If he wants you guys to hang out at his favorite hobby store, GO. If he wants to go out of town, GO. If he wants to eat at that restaurant you all hate, GO. If he wants to just laze around at home, GO. Whatever daddy wants, daddy gets on Father’s Day.

Brownie points: Make a special “Father’s Day Gift Certificate” that has something like “This entitles the bearer (insert name of dad here) to one full day of (insert his favorite past time with the family here). Style it after an actual GC for more authenticity. You can play with Photoshop to include photos or special graphics, ask help from the kids! Don’t forget to sign the gift certificate after printing it out.

    2. Be cheesy. And do it online!

    loving you

A little note that says “Top 10 reasons why (insert name of dad here) is the best dad in the world” followed by a list of top 10 reasons that you and the kids come up with. Post it on Facebook for the whole world to see!

Brownie points: Make it into a small booklet and print it out! We’re so spoiled with technology that most of the things we write remain in softcopy format.
