Donning costumes is about imagination, so don’t worry too much about whether or not your handiwork looks real. MAKE it real with the proper pep talk and the willingness to play along. Say “You really scared me!” to your werewolf-costumed son, or address your daughter as “Your Highness” while she’s wearing her tiara.
