If you are passionate about children and their development through education, and you also want to put up your own business and still have more time for your family, then Kumon is a great fit for you.
Ever since its founding in Japan in 1958, this world-renowned method of learning has continuously been flourishing in different parts of the world, helping a multitude of children reach their potential. Kumon is also known as an award-winning franchise brand. Its phenomenal success can be largely attributed to the excellent performance of the hands-on Kumon franchisees, who are also the Kumon Instructors.
Kumon Franchisee-Instructors Are More than Just Teachers
Every Kumon Franchisee-Instructor is a partner in achieving Kumon’s dream of helping students unleash their utmost potential. Aside from developing the necessary academic skills to help them excel in school, instructors are also dedicated in fostering life skills – including discipline and patience – in their students that will allow them to face life’s challenges with confidence, determination and enthusiasm.
Being a Kumon Franchisee-Instructor also means that “you are your own boss.” As the owner, you are in charge of the operations of your Kumon Center. You set up your center, hire and train your team of assistants, handle customers, manage your Center’s finances, determine your business hours, and develop a marketing strategy suitable for the unique nature of your place.
Limitless Opportunities for Kumon Franchisee-Instructors
Being your own boss doesn’t mean that you are alone in managing the Kumon Center. In Kumon, continuous support is given to all Franchisee-Instructors to ensure endless development of management and instructional skills. An integral part of this support are the comprehensive training sessions before and after the Kumon Center has opened. You will also be provided with monthly seminars and sent to local and overseas conferences to maximize opportunities to learn more from other Instructors.
