Last Saturday, May 6, the sexy actress and mom tied the knot with her fiance, art curator Norman Crisologo, in an intimate garden ceremony in Tagaytay. While it was a low-key wedding, a wish of the bride, the wedding itself was a sophisticated affair.
The color theme was black, from the stage (if we are not mistaken, the background looks like a replica of the church in Ilocos Norte, where Norman proposed) to the chairs to the decorative vases. White and nature green became the accent colors, thanks to flowers and the plants and trees in the garden. The "no nonsense, straight to the point yet sophisticated and elegant set-up" was by Teddy Manuel, whose floral designs and event styling is famous and in demand in the wedding industry.
The venue was Antonio's of chef Antonio 'Tony Boy' Escalante. In 2015, it was recognized as one of Asia's Top 50 Best Restaurants.
The guest list included many of the couple's celebrity friends, including, Aga Muhlach, John Lloyd Cruz, Ellen Adarna, Julius Babao, and Tintin Bersola. Of course, the couple's 1-year-old daughter Olivia Ines was present, too. Beauty and Norman got engaged this March and only disclosed that the wedding would be this year. The only hint that she would get married was an Instagram post by friend and sexy actress Ellen Adarna posted a throwback photo on Instagram. (She also revealed the proposal.) "Omg Omg Omg all our worries will be gone in 4 days, and I could not be happier for you. No more hoping for a better tomorrow! The heavens heard what you yearned for, and they will grant you the forever you desire - one which you rightfully deserve," she said. Congratulations, Beauty and Norman! (pep.ph)
Rufa Mae Quinto on reclaiming her pre-pregnant self
The new mom made her first appearance on TV and admitted on Rated K that she was surprised at first when she saw her daughter as a newborn, and then she promptly cried a few moments later. "Parang, hay, salamat sa Diyos na healthy ang anak ko," she told host Korina Sanchez.
Rufa Mae has been vocal about her postpartum depression, which she had during the first month of motherhood. "Manas na manas ka na dumoble ang paa mo, parang babalik pa ba ako dati? Then, nami-miss mo naman yung career mo," she said. "Tapos yung anak mo, 'di mo alam paano alagaan kasi 'di mo alam paano magbuhat, 'di mo alam bakit sya umiiyak. 'Pag umiyak siya, iyak ka na rin. Ang daming mga emosyon na talagang todo na to," Rufa Mae added.
Her husband Trevor was also affected by her PPD. "Parang ikaw lahat ng nawal-wal, ikaw ang tumaba, nabalahura, parang ganun, tapos yung husband mo, sexy tapos fresh. Nakakainis," she shared. "But my husband didn't understand. Ako rin naman yung nainis sa kanya kasi nga I felt I did everything," Rufa Mae explained.

The sexy comedienne is now on the road to her bubly self. From 187 pounds, Rufa Mae is now down to 120. "Every day it gets better. Ngayon happy-happy na, pero meron pa rin fight-fight fight," she said. After having her first child and expriencing the ups and downs of motherhood, Rufa Mae says she's not turning her back on it yet and wants another baby, hopefully, a boy next time. "Pinakamasarap na nangyari sa buhay ko pa din yung magka-anak at asawa eh, kaya hindi ko aatrasan magkaron ulit ng anak," she said. (abs-cbn.com)
