A few days ago this was posted on Facebook by  Lavania Oluban.

This is how the story goes according to Buzzfeed. Oluban took her nephews and sister to the West Midland Safari Park in England. They all had a wonderful time, that is, until her nephew, Logan, lost the penguin balloon they bought at the park. He had a stuffed penguin at home called Pengy, which we think is the reason why he was distraught. Obviously, penguins are important to him.

“Anyway, after losing him [the balloon] when we opened the car door it took quite a while to convince Logan that Pengy was going travelling. I put up a Facebook post to ask some friends and family who are off on their holidays to send postcards from Pengy to Logan about his travelling adventures,” Oluban told Buzzfeed News.

And it looks like Aunt Lavania has a good handful of friends from all over the world because soon after, postcards from the lost penguin balloon started pouring in. There's even little stories that come with the letters.

Logan got a total of 30 cards from his lost -- but apparently just-touring-the-world – penguin balloon. Some of them came from New York City, Spain and the Isle of Wight. What an adventurous penguin!
