Meet 14-month-old Oakley Lynch from Berkshire, England. He was born with with symbrachydactyly, a rare congenital abnormality resulting in his right arm not growing below the forearm. They knew early on in the pregnancy--and it certainly didn't deter his parents. Now, the toddler dresses to impress--and his style is not just at par not just with children with compelte limbs but also with kids models you see often on style magazine spreads.
When parents Victoria and Greg Lynch found that Oakly warms up to the camera very well, they decided to use it to his advantage. Victoria set up her son's Instagram account when he was just a few months old. The toddlers on-cam charm now helps spread awareness about limb difficienceis and promote acceptance.
Dad Greg is only thankful that his wife has started the Instagram account, and is overwhelmed at the response they are getting. "The way he has adapted to life with one hand is just incredible, you wouldn't know any different.I'm confident that with what I've seen so far he's a very determined little boy and I don't think there's anything that will hold him back," he says in an interview with the Daily Mail.
