    Recall Alert: Diono car seats

The company has voluntarily recalled more than 500,000 car seats due to a faulty lap belt. Company tests showed that car seats Diono's Radian R100, Radian R120, Radian RXT, Olympia, Pacifica, and Rainier convertible and booster car seats, might not be able to secure a child entirely in the event of a car accident when the seat is installed forward-facing especially when it uses only a lap belt without the top tether. It also found that a child who weighed over 65 pounds and used the forward-facing seat with just the lap belt could face an increased risk of chest injury in an accident. The recall affects the models mentioned above and manufactured after November 25, 2013. (popsugar.com)
