As a way of giving back after its third successful year of kiddie fun and kiddie parties, the Li’l Fun Ranch celebrated its anniversary by treating fifty children from the Educational Research and Develoment Assistance (ERDA) Foundation to an afternoon of non-stop play and Red the Dog’s birthday party.

What the ERDA Foundation is all about
The Li’l Ranch is all about children, that’s why their anniversary celebration is all for the benefit of children as well. The ERDA Foundation, a human development organization, was started in 1974 by the Philippines’ oldest active Jesuit, 95-year-old Father Pierre Tritz, to provide educational assistance and preschool programs to less fortunate children. Aside from these, ERDA also runs community-based livelihood, health and education programs to provide value formation and leadership training. ERDA is also accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC).

Together with the other beloved mascots of the Li’l Fun Ranch, Sunny the Duck and Skye the Blue Horse, the kids from ERDA danced and sang along to entertaining musical numbers and games, care of the Big Red Barn. They started the afternoon playing in the five (kiddie) storey air conditioned indoor playground which includes a multi-level maze of trampolines, hanging bridges, tunnels and slides. From there, they attended Red the Dog’s party in the upper barn, one of the many party areas in the Alabang branch of Li’l Fun Ranch. There was even a magician and a face painter to liven up the afternoon’s lineup of activities.

And what birthday celebration is complete without party food? The kids from ERDA filled their tummies with party favorites from the Big Red Barn such as spaghetti, barbecue, and fried chicken.

As the party came to a close, the children from ERDA got to bring home a souvenir of yummy goodies—a Big Red Barn loot bag full of candies and other sweet treats.
