  • Regine Velasquez claims son Nate does not tantrums

The Asia's Songbird is one lucky mom, and she knows it. After attending the wedding of Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, Regine, husband Ogie Alcasid, and son Nate (and the rest of their blended family) had gone to Disneyland Paris, a pleasant but also exhausting experience for any boy. Regine says her son, who will turn 6 soon, did get tired from all the walking. "But [Nate] didn't complain. Never ko pa na experience mag-tantrum [ang] anak ko. Kahit pagod, gutom, masama pakiramdam, magsasabi lang siya sa 'kin na pagod na siya, iiyak siya pero yung mahinang iyak lang," Regine writes on Instagram.

Regine would constantly assure her son and offered to carry him. Once he gets a quick rest, he would be back to his old self again. Regine also added her son is good at finding things and activities to entertain himself and keep his mood in check. "Very considerate, sensitive, caring and loving little man just like his dad," Regine added. (pep.ph

Jolina Magdangal shares tough-love discipline technique

"We promised to try not to spank or shout at Pele as a way of disciplining him," the Magandang Buhay co-host and actress told Inquirer.net. But Jolima admitted there were times when she and husband, Mark Escueta, felt the need to use corporal punishment to help son Pele "remember that he’d been naughty." According to her, "babies from 3 years and older will remember these things when they grow up." Jolina also shared their  tough-love discipline technique: "When we hit him, we use foamy slippers. We tap him on his behind, but we hit the wall even harder." (inquirer.net)
