  • Scarlet Snow Belo's parents are getting married!

According to Thelma Sison San Juan of the Philippines Daily Inquirer, she received a text message inviting select individuals to the wedding of Drs. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho in September in Paris. The message is composed to read like it was from Scarlet Snow herself, and it reads: "This is Scarlet Snow Belo and I would like to invite you to be present when my parents, Daddy Hayden and Mommy Vicki, get married in our favorite city, Paris."

Vicki and Hayden have been together since 2005, but their relationship has not been without challenges, like Hayden's scandal in 2009 and a very public breakup in 2012. However, since getting back together in 2014 and welcoming their daughter Scarlet Snow in 2015, they've been going strong and steady. Hayden said they're getting married "to do right in the eyes of God" and that it's what's best for their daughter. Congratulations! (pep.ph)

LOOK: Baby Miggy Miranda is so big at five months old!

"Ang bilis ng panahon," Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda wrote as caption for son Miggy's recent milestone photo. It's been only five months since his wife Neri Naig gave birth to their first bundle of joy, but look how big he is now! "Napagkamalang six months na si Miguel ko, haha! 27 inches kase ang haba niya at 7.4 kilos na siya. Napakalaking bulas," Neri wrote on a separate Instagram post when Baby Miggy was just four months old. In fact, he already wears pants made for six-month-old babies. He's so big that Neri says carrying and playing with him serves as her exercise. "Binata na talaga eh. Umaakyat na nga daw ng puno ng niyog mag-isa eh... tapos ginagawa niyang ice buko yung mga nakukuha nyang bunga tapos binibenta niya sa palengke tuwing umaga para daw pan-tuition nya sa college. Napakabait na bata," Chito joked.

Jennylyn brings biological dad home from South Korea

Not only did the actress and single mom have fun with boyfriend Dennis Trillo and son Alex Jazz while vacationing in South Korea, she also met with her biological dad Noli Pineda. She said in an interview that they already had an agreement as early as January this year that the retired musician, 62, will be coming home with her. "Masaya kasi sinundo ko yung father ko. Ngayon, dito na siya. Ano yun, e, January. Sabi ko, 'Samahan niyo ako, kasi wala na akong kasama rito sa Philippines, mag-isa na lang ako. Tapos sabi niya, 'Di bale, uuwi na lang ako.' Sabi ko, 'Hindi, susunduin kita para sigurado," Jennylyn shared. The father-and-daughter duo is currently adjusting to the new home setup since Jen has never actually lived with him since birth. "Pero kilala ko naman kasi siya. Even [if] hindi naman kami nagkikita, uuwi naman yun yearly. Tapos, nagkakasama rin kami," she said. (pep.ph)

OFWs no longer need to pay airport terminal fees
Starting April 30, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) only need to declare themselves to avail of the privilege, which is considered valid at any point of sale, whether in the Philippines or abroad. Manila International Airport Authority general manager Ed Monreal said the selling agent may or may not ask for proof of entitlement during the transaction. "If no proof is shown during transaction, the passenger should be able to present one during check-in at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)" where it can be validated, he explained.

Starting July 31, airlines will also start honoring OFW exemptions at any point of sale for tickets purchased online, via phone or mobile apps. Aside from general security measures, OFWs should be able to show proof of entitlement upon check-in. Documents that show Proof of Entitlement is not limited to Overseas Employment Certificates (OEC); valid employment contracts or recent pay slips, among others, are also accepted.(interaksyon.com)
