  • Sharon Cuneta claims sleep made her lose eight pounds

"Matulog ka kung kaya mo buong araw at gabi! 'Paggising mo, yogurt kainin mo o dalawang kutsara ng kahit anong meron," the Megastar said in a funny exchange with friend and beauty expert Fanny Serrano. "Minsan once or twice a day, ganyan kain ko. Tulog lang, rest ng voice," Sharon added. It actually makes sense. Yogurt, particularly high-protein Greek yogurt, is a a snack favorite of people who want to lose weight. It has high protein content, plus potassium, phosphorous, iodine, zinc, and Vitamins B5 and B12. According to Fitness Magazine, eating 18 ounces of yogurt a day can help one "drop a jeans size." Yogurt is perfect as an after-work out snack as the body would need protein to repair muscles, while carbohydrates replenish energy lost after exercise. (pep.ph)

The mixed martial artist-turned-actor has no qualms about doing a love scene with his wife if they ever get to work on a movie together. "Oo naman I’d love to work with my wife. Love scenes, todo na 'yun mag-asawa naman kami eh. Kahit tansan lang plato [cover] ok na samin 'yun," Ali told Inquirer.net. He admitted, though, that he would still seek Cristine's advice when it comes to scenes and acting. Ali said Cristine didn't give him restrictions, and neither did he when it comes to his wife's roles. "Hindi ko naman siya pinagbawalan. Basta sabi ko kay Cristine, when you’re given roles, it should be something na paglaki ng anak mo magiging proud rin siya," Ali explained. (inquirer.net)

Carmina Villarroel reveals secret to happy home
No matter the size of your home, it's the people who make up the family who lives in it that matters. "Pakiramdam ko 'yong energy na pagpasok nila sa house, 'yong energy na naba-vibe nila inside the house—iyon 'yon. Sinasabi ko nga sa kambal (Cassy and Mavy), ‘Ang ikinakaganda niyan (their house), iyong mga taong nakatira sa loob,'" Carmina shared the secret to their happy home to Yes! Magazine. "No matter how big your house is, kung lagi naman nag-aaway ang pamilya, hindi nag-uusap, walang communication, naglolokohan -- it's not really a home," she added. The Legaspi family had to move to a new house after the Ondoy disaster in 2009, but the spirit of a happy home always stays where she, Zoren, and the twins are. (pep.ph)
