Sunshine Dizon and estranged husband Tim reunite for kids' moving up day
The estranged couple was seen together last week to celebrate their daughter Doreen's moving-up day on March 13 and then again on March 17, this time for their son Anton's milestone in school. "My graduates," the mom of two proudly posted on Instagram. Doreen will be in Grade 1 next schoolyear, while Anton will move up to Kinder. "How time flies," she added. It seems Sunshine is not bothered at all by their recent marital and legal woes, as she included a photo of Timothy with their kids in the photo collage she posted on Instagram. Many of her fans commended her decision to keep her kids' father involved in their lives, despite his alleged infidelity to her.
In 2016, Sunshine filed cases against Timothy and his alleged mistress Charisma Sison on the grounds of concubinage and Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC). In December last year, Timothy issued a public apology to Sunshine and their kids, which the latter accepted, although she denied that they’ve reconciled. This January, Sunshine withdrew the said charges and filed for an annulment of their marriage instead. "I think I owe it to myself already to be free of all these." she told PEP.ph. "Ang importante sa akin ngayon is ma-save ko yung konting maibibigay ko sa aking mga anak," Sunshine said. (pep.ph)
Pia Guanio's baby bump finally shows at six months
She's already six months on the family way, yet it's only now that the TV host started wearing maternity clothes (which don't look maternity at all, by the way!). On Instagram, Pia debuted a photo of her tiny but growing baby bump recently. "Hi baby bump!" she wrote.
After announcing her pregnancy last month by posting a photo of her baby's ultrasound, Pia's OOTDs on the noontime variety show Eat Bulaga, which she co-hosts, still consisted of slim jeans with loose tops, or dresses that allow room for her growing pregnant belly to breathe. With her new set of wardrobe, Pia remains stylish with carefully-selected pieces from her favorite shops. (pep.ph)
LOOK: Baby Zia learns a new pose!
"The rat face has evolved into a duck face," Dingdong Dantes wrote on Instagram. Wife Marian Rivera also shared a photo copying their daughter Zia's new favorite pose. "The family that plays together, pouts together," she wrote. The Kapuso stars recently went on vacation in Japan and have been sharing photos on social media from their Kyoto trip. They were scheduled to be back in Manila by March 19.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"After intervals of binge eating, playing and braving the breezy, animated streets of Japan, this shot pretty much sums up our little adventure-- calm, with chubby sunburnt cheeks and a satisfied soul," wrote the doting dad.
During their trip, Marian also attended a three-day session on floral arrangement for her hobby-turned-new business venture Flora Vida by Marian. "Happy to learn something new!" the aspiring florist wrote on Instagram.
Daughter asks Ina Raymundo: 'Is it OK to show women's chests?'
Kids ask the silliest questions, right? But sometimes, they ask the most important questions, too. In an interview with the FHM Philippines anniversary cover girl, actress Ina Raymundo shared one of her kids' curious questions for her. "My daughter asked me if I thought it was okay for women to show their chests the way men do. She said that she thought it wasn't fair that women get judged for showing their boobs and yet men don't," Ina shared, adding that she felt proud knowing how her daughter felt about the issue, proof that she's raising strong and brave little girls. "I told her, if you feel that it makes you happy, then you should do it. But of course, you shouldn't force other women to do it as well just because you want to fight for it. That's not cool. To each his own. It has to be done for the right reasons and we should never pressure other girls to do it when they don't want to," she said. (gmanetwork.com)
DOH's air ambulance flies for the first time to help five-year-old boy
The new air ambulance of the Department of Health (DOH) has taken its first trip when it transported a five-year-old hit-and-run victim last March 16. "After we were informed of the patient’s case the next day, the air ambulance was immediately dispatched to Coron at 10:30 a.m. to transport her to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) in Taft Avenue, Manila, and arrived at 12:30 p.m. The Cessna 206 was used to convey the patient from Coron Airport to Tanauan Airport in Batangas," Eduardo Janairo, DOH-Mimaropa (Region 4B) director told the press. The government launched two 24/7 air ambulances last week, a Cessna 206 (a six-seater helicopter), and a Robinson R44 (a four-seater chopper). Both helicopters are equipped with first-aid kits and are manned by an in-flight paramedic. (gmanetwork.com)
