    Syrian teen Marwan Masri, who is based in Dubai, passed up the chance to get himself a luxury car in order to help others in need. The fifteen-year-old decided to give his eight years worth of savings--that's DH75,000, or around P965,683--to the Filipino people affected by Typhoon Nona, which recently wrecked havoc in the country. Masri dreams to be a doctor like his father someday, and he didn't need a lot of convincing, too, after finding out that many of the families of the Filipino workers working for his father's clinic were affected by the typhoon.     4. Mom's age when giving birth affects her child's intelligence?
    According to a study published in Biodemography and Social Biology, a woman's age when she gives birth plays a rolled in how intelligent her child would be. Researchers from the London School of Economics say that kids born to first-time moms in their 30s have better cognitive scores and better behavior that the first-born children of moms in their 20s. Lead author Alice Goisis explains that moms in their 30s are more likely to be educated, have higher incomes, and are more stable in terms of lifestyle--and thus, they could also afford early prenatal care or could have planned their pregnancy.
