Syrian teen Marwan Masri, who is based in Dubai, passed up the chance to get himself a luxury car in order to help others in need. The fifteen-year-old decided to give his eight years worth of savings--that's DH75,000, or around P965,683--to the Filipino people affected by Typhoon Nona, which recently wrecked havoc in the country. Masri dreams to be a doctor like his father someday, and he didn't need a lot of convincing, too, after finding out that many of the families of the Filipino workers working for his father's clinic were affected by the typhoon. He said he earned and saved the incentive money his father gives him for getting good grades. Thank you, Marwan! (abs-cbn.com)
