Golden State Warriors’ MVP player Stephen Curry once again brought his daughter, two-year-old Riley, to his last postgame press conference after advancing to the NBA finals -- and once again, she stole the show. 5. Moms stage #brelfies in protest
In the “OK! Or Not OK!” segment of the Today Show last May 21, host Hoda Kotb commented, “I say breastfeeding is beautiful and natural, but sharing it on social media: TMI.” Her comment incensed breastfeeding mothers across the U.S. and started a social media storm of sharing #brelfies or breastfeeding selfies. Breastfeeding advocate Jill DeLorenzo organized a “nurse-in, peaceful protest playdate” during the May 23 taping of the show at the Rockefeller Plaza. But the nurse-in wasn’t a complete success as they had hoped, as some of their signs were confiscated at the plaza entrance. Jill is still actively getting signatures for her online petition on Change.org. (huffingtonpost.com)
