2.“The Good Dinosaur” releases second full-length trailer

Disney-Pixar's second film offering this year has just released its second trailer and it does not disappoint. The audience gets to have a better grasp of how Arlo and the little boy named Spot met — and they actually speak! Arlo gets separated from his family, and Spot protects him from the world he does not know. The new trailer also gives the audience a taste of the duo’s interaction with other dinosaurs, like Nash, a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The real story, though, is how Arlo overcomes his fears.  It lives up to Disney-Pixar’s trademark of striking a perfect balance between touching and fun moments. “The Good Dinosaur" opens in theaters this November. 3. 3D printing safeguards baby before birth
According to a report published in the online edition of the journal Pediatrics, 3D printing technology is a huge help in the treatment of high-risk pregnancies. Michigan doctors used 3D printing to remove the guesswork and aided the doctors in delivering a baby, who earlier was detected to have a large mass on its face through an ultrasound at 30 weeks. Fearing it might block the baby’s airway at birth, the doctors had a 3D model of the fetal face built. This is the first time 3D printing technology has been used in the womb “to diagnose facial deformity and severity of airway risk with a newborn.” (webmd.com)

    5. Doctors reattach toddler’s head after freak accident

In Australia, Jackson Taylor’s head had to be internally “reattached” by doctors after he was injured in a head-on car crash. He broke two vertebrae on his neck and his collarbone, which resulted to an internal dislocation. Doctors used a wire and a piece of his rib to reattach his vertebrae during the six-hour operation. Jackson was kept sleeping for three days after. His mom Rylea Taylor is now using her story to fight reckless driving. She has set up up a Change.org petition calling for harsher punishments for reckless drivers. (huffingtonpost.co.uk)
