Caleigh had an enchanted forest-themed party last Sunday, which celebrated not only her fifth birthday but also a year of being cancer-free. Her mom, former actress Jackie Forster, is more than thankful. “Caleigh is doing well. She’s been in remission for over a year, wala na siyang cancer,” she said in an interview with Balitanghali. Celebrity friends including Doug and Chesca Kramer and kids, LJ Moreno-Alapag and kids, Danica Sotto-Pingris and kids, to name a few, were present to celebrate with them. The birthday girl also shared her birthday wishes, one of which is to be with her older brothers Andre and Kobe Paras. 2. Judy Ann Santos put on bed rest The actress and cookbook author had to postpone a book singing event in Davao to be able to rest. Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo said in a statement she posted on Instagram that she has been advised by her doctor to take it easy. Her statement read: “I am on bed rest for two weeks… with minimal movements only. But nothing to worry about, Luna [the baby in her womb] and I are safe and okay now. 3. Heart Evangelista previews first children’s book
The “Beautiful Strangers” star posted on Instagram a photo of the cover of her first children’s book, which is part of the handcrafted bags project she and bag designer Rocio Olbes are working on. Heart illustrated the book, entitled “Daughter of The Sun and The Moon,” while Rocio wrote the story. She says they’re dedicating the book to overseas Filipino workers who have been victims of different kinds of abuse. The book is set to be released this coming November. (gmanetwork.com)

Neil Gaiman welcomes baby boy Award-winning writer and author of comic books and graphic novel Neil Gaiman welcomed baby boy Anthony, his first child with wife, singer-songwriter Amanda Palmer, last September 16. On Neil’s website, he wrote a short and sweet birth announcement where he revealed that he likes to call his son “Squeaker” because “he makes the best noises in the world” and that his wife is "an amazing mother.” Neil is already a dad to three children from his previous marriage to Mary McGrath. 5. New “Angry Birds" movie trailer is here!
The new “Angry Birds” trailer introduces a whole new flock of, well, angry birds. It actually looks fun and promising in a sense that the movie will try to explain why the birds are so angry at these piggies. Yes, it’s sort of an origin story. The birds will be voiced by Jason Sudeikis as curmudgeonly Red, Josh Gad as yellow Chuck, and Danny McBride as enormous Bomb. Other actors who lent their voices to the film include Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Keegan Michael-Key, and Peter Dinklage. “Angry Birds” the movie will hit theaters in May 2016. (ew.com)
