    4. Argentina hospitals requires public hospitals to employ clowns
    A new law in the South American country requires public hospitals in its largest province to employ a number of specially-trained clowns to help treat child patients. Andres Kogan, a pediatrician supervising an Argentina hospital's clown program, assures that more than their potential to uplift children and their families, the said clowns could also help doctors with kids who have a hard time communicating because they are shy or are simply not able to. The new law leaves it to the hospitals as to how many clowns they can keep on reserve or how often the clowns can make their rounds. (ryot.org)
