    3. Credit Suisse adding to its new-parent leave policy
Banking company Credit Suisse announced on Monday that it would offer all U.S. employees 20 weeks of maternity leave. It previously offered 12 weeks of paid leave, and now adds eight weeks of unpaid leave for new-parent employees. The Zurich-based company also announced that it's willing to shoulder travel costs for a nanny if and when its new-parent employees need to travel for business within the first 12 months of their child's life. Elizabeth Donnelly, Credit Suisse's head of benefits for the Americas, stated that the reason for the revised policy is because of the tight competition among other companies' leave benefits. A new study by the researchers at the University of Melbourne found that sugar-free drinks can cause tooth decay as much as sugary drinks do. “While reducing your sugar intake does reduce your risk of dental decay, the chemical mix of acids in some foods and drinks can cause the equally damaging condition of dental erosion,” says study co-author Eric Reynolds. The chemicals in some "sugar-free" drinks, particularly those acidic additives with low PH levels, have the same damaging effects on the teeth. (yahoo.com)
