    3. PNoy inaugurates first Philippine-financed solar farm in Batangas

    President Benigno Aquino III led the switch-on ceremony of a 63.6-megawatt solar farm in Calatagan, Batangas. It’s the first solar farm built by Solar Philippines, a Filipino-owned company. "This project will be a great contribution to the emission reduction and job generation efforts of the government,” PNoy said. The solar farm has already exceeded the energy target set over a year ago.
