  • 1. Sunshine Dizon says her email and IG were hacked

The actress and mom of two has a new Instagram account, and her first post is an announcement that her email and previous Instagram accounts were hacked. In the post, she reveals that, on her birthday, her mobile phone was declared lost--even if it was not--and the line was suspended. She says the telecommunications company informed her that her estranged husband, Timothy Tan, had not given her authority to "make amends on the said line even if I have over payment of 11,000 pesos." When Sunshine tried to recover her email, it turns out that the suspended mobile line was tagged in the notifications for password recovery. This development comes just after Sunshine filed two cases versus Timothy, an anti-Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) case and a concubinage case. The former has a preliminary investigation hearing on July 14. According to Sunshine's lawyer, Atty. Claire Castro, "Isasama na rin namin sa anti-VAWC case si Clarisma Soriano Sison." Timothy is allegedly in an extramarital relationship with Clarissa. (pep.ph

    2. Is Neri Naig expecting a baby boy or girl?

The first-time mom and her husband Chito Miranda already know if they are expecting a Little Neri or a Little Chito, but they are not yet telling. "Alam na namin ang gender ni baby! Actually last month pa namin alam pero 80% sure palang kase natutulog si baby nung nagpa-ultrasound kami last month kaya di masyadong makita. Pero 100% na alam na namin ngayon ang gender ni baby!" Neri wrote on an Instagram post. The two, who are now busy furnishing and decorating the baby's room, will welcome the baby in just a few months. "Sobrang excited na kami ng tatay mo. Hindi pa kita nakikita pero sobrang mahal na mahal na kita!" (pep.ph)

3.DepEd looking into having regular drug tests in high schools
The Department of Education (DepEd) plans to conduct regular drug testing for public and private high school students to help the government's crackdown on illegal drugs. DepEd assistant secretary Jesus Mateo says, however, that the proposed undertaking will need a "major bigger funding." Currently, the department is only able to conduct random drug testing in some schools. Mateo stresses that fighting drugs is not only the responsibility of teachers or school official but the whole community. (gmanetwork.com)

    4. Commedienne Cai Cortez ties the knot

The funny actress, who has had successful supporting roles in films such as English Only Please, Here Comes The Bride, Ang Babae sa Septic Tank, and the now-showing Imagine You and Me, tied the knot with her boyfriend Wissem Rkhami. The civil ceremony was held at the Manila City Hall and was officiated by mayor of Manila and former Philippine president Joseph Estrada. Cai, daughter of veteran actor Rex Cortez, has kept the relationship private. It was just two weeks ago when she posted a selfie of her and Wissem togeher with the caption "l'avenir semble prometteur" or "The future looks bright." Congratulations! (pep.ph)

    5. LEGO Adventure Time unique minifigures

Aside from the minifigures that come with some of Lego's Dimensions game sets, LEGO is set to release an Adventure Time mini-figures set, which includes, of course, our favorite characters Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, BMO, the Ice King, Gunter, Marceline (the vampire), Lady Rainicorn, and more! As unqiue and surreal the TV series is, their mini-figures are also one-of-a-kind. Lego opted to package each character as mini-figures that kids can make from scratch--and they're just marvelous. Maybe all minifigure should be built from scratch, right? The chraracters will come in individual boxes. The Adventure Time Lego Minifigure sets will hit stores in Januray 2017. (mashable.com
