• 10 plastic bags

• clear tape

• posts and strings to keep the tent up

Steps 1 to 2

1. Cut the plastic bags open, spread it out and trim to big rectangles. 2. Tape the sides together making one big blanket sheet.

3. Put it up with posts, strings and weights. Kids can lay a mat inside and play camping.

Materials for a weaved purse or tote:

• color coordinated plastic bag

• clear tape

1. Cut the bags into 2 inches strips.

Step 2

2. Loop all strips in one line of thick plastic strand.

Step 3

3. Gather all the strips together. A compressed weave can make the product more durable.

Step 4

4. Loop more strips on one side and arrange these horizontally.

5. Weave all the strips, each going over and under crossing strands alternately. Neatly arrange all weaved strands in place by pulling and compressing. Make a long rectangular "mat" and fold it in the middle.

6. Sew the sides together using another strip of plastic.

Step 7

7. For the handles, braid together the middle part of 3 pieces of plastic strips. The 2 loose ends will be weaved into the body of the bag.

Step 8

8. This tote bag can be used for Mommy's marketing, to keep the sand castle tools for the beach or a play purse.

Materials for a mosaic poster / sun catcher:

• colored plastic bags

• plastic cover

• manila paper

• black marker

• scissors

• glue

Step 1:

Compose a scene and draw this on the manila paper.

Steps 2-4

2. Cut the plastic bag into small "tiles" separating the colors.

3. Lay the plastic sheet over the manila paper

4. Glue the colored tiles closely over the plastic sheet guided by the design underneath. This activity requires the participation of the whole family or with friends.

This whole artwork can be draped over the window to catch the light and give out a luminous, colorful decor.
