My husband bought this board book for our son when he was more than a year old. Our little boy knew only two colors then (red and blue) and my husband felt that we needed to do something to help our son become more familiar with them.

Since our son liked the Cars movie by Disney Pixar very much, we bought him books about it to lessen his TV time. He liked the movie so much that if we gave in, he would watch it twice a day at times! It was really helpful that we found the Colourful Cars book which allowed us to still talk about the characters in the movie without having to turn on the TV and the DVD player.

Colourful Cars was one of the books we bought him. My husband got it for P125.00 only from Scholastic during a promo tour at their office. This and other titles could also be found at Scholastic booths in some malls or at leading bookstores like National Bookstore and Powerbooks at regular prices.
