Mga sis, kelan kayo ulet nagkaron after you stopped using injectables??

I stopped na kasi for a month, been using it for almost a year, after kapanganak ni baby, wala pa ako mens shot na agad kasi hindi ako 100% panatag sa LAM. So, during the months na naka injectables ako, spotting lang here and there for a few days pero wala talaga mens as in yung regular flow (so tagal ko  na wala haha 9mos preggers, tapos shot agad so plus 11mos) before pregnancy, regular ako, as in 28 day cycle, walang palya.

Thanks!

Hi Mommy Nyle,
According to my OB, dapat magcondom muna kayo kung you have a contact before 7 days after you got your shot. kasi hindi pa daw ganun ka effective yung gamot. There will be a chance na magpreggy ka if you and your hubby did not do withdrawal or used condoms. You're right dapat daw before you have contact with your husband palipasin muna 7 days after you got your shot. So your body can really absorb the medicine. Pero it might be better if you could take a pregnancy test or consult your health provider. I hope I helped you answer your question. ^_^

Please go to the following topic for details.

Hello Daddy Jojo, mga mommies and mga sis. First time ko po dito. Mag share lang po ako. May ovarian cyst po ako and endometriosis. I'm single, 40, and no kids. Yung ob ko niresetahan ako ng provera pills to be taken 3x a day. Dinugo ako sa presyo kaya ng malaman ko na yung friend ko is being injected by her
ob ng contraceptive pill for her ovarian cyst, lumipat ako ng ob. Parusa talaga. Less than 3cm sya so puede daw d pa operahan.

Sabi nung midwife normal lang daw so go ulit ako sa second shot(January 2011), nag-improve nga yung period ko, halos wala na talaga, pero the downside is sobra as in sobrang sakit talaga nung in between balakang at bum ko. Nakakatayo pa naman ako sa bed pero it will take time at pakonti konti lang ang galaw ko sa bed or else sobrang sakit! Very sensitive din ako kapag natutulog, hindi pwede magchange ng position ng mabilis dahil sasakit ulit, kahit movements ni hubby limited din dahil hindi niya ako pwede matamaan, pati din sa loving loving affected, dahil sobrang sakit nga ng back part ko na yun, dapat careful lang si hubby at one position lang or else mapapasigaw talaga ako sa sakit :'( Kaya nagdecide kami both ni hubby na hindi na ako magpapa third shot, oobserve daw muna namin kung yung back pain ko is because of the injectables or dahil baka may kidney problem na ako since hindi ako pala-wiwi... Ganun padin yung pain, and kahit hindi na ako nag third shot, mas lalo nawala yung period ko as in zero! Kaya medyo naalarm nadin ako.

After more than 6 months mula nung supposed-to-be 3rd shot ko (April 2011), I can say na pain free na ako at bumalik na ulit period ko after almost 4 months since April. Happier ako ngayon, maghahanap nalang siguro ako ng ibang ways para sa family planning, baka back to the natural method nalang kami since effective naman siya sakin before getting pregnant, try namin if effective padin sakin.

I'm not saying na dinidiscourage ko ang mga mommies dito who's into injectables, pero kung yung mga naranasan niyo is the same sa naranasan ko, I suggest na stop niyo nalang, or better yet, consult your OB :)

i've tried pills, skin patch and injectable:

PILLS - makakalimutin kasi ako, kaya tinigil ko to, nakakataba ng sobra

SKIN PATCH - super ok kaso mahal

Sisses, I'm interested in using injectables after giving birth to my Leetol One in Feb, but my Hubby wants me to use pills instead, kasi daw tagal mawala yung side effect. Eh makakalimutin pa naman din ako when it comes to drinking vitamins --- what more pa kaya sa pills???  :o

Hi mOmMy sEz®

"Oral contraceptives (more commonly known as pills), hormonal injectables and Intra-Uterine Devices (IUDs) are all artificial contraceptives. Unfortunately, most people are not aware that they are, indeed, abortifacient. A review of the various literatures on these contraceptives will show that each of them has an efficacy rate that is less than 100 percent because fertilization (the meeting of egg cell and sperm cell, which leads to the conceptus) is not absolutely prevented."

"In the case of the pill, ovulation and fertilization can still occur and we have seen this in our practice. We have seen patients with abnormal bleeding and positive pregnancy tests despite their taking the pill, which proves that fertilization had indeed occurred. Unfortunately, the pill?whether oral, patch or injectable?renders the uterus hostile to implantation. And this is what makes it abortifacient."

Lyndavel has progestogen.  It causes cancer.  It kills women using it.

Lyndavel thins the lining of the uterus.  It's an abortifacient.  It kills newly-conceived babies.

"Contents    Medroxyprogesterone acetate"

"Lyndavel is a progestin-only injectable contraceptive that gives 3 months of contraceptive protection. It contains medroxyprogesterone acetate, a derivative of progesterone. It contains a progestin that is similar to the natural hormone that a woman's body produces. This hormone is released slowly into the bloodstream."

"Lyndavel stops ovulation, thins the lining of the uterus and thickens the cervical mucus. In combination, these actions prevent pregnancy."

"ATC Classification    G03AC06 - medroxyprogesterone ; Belongs to the class of progestogens. Used as systemic contraceptives. "
