Negative PTs but 1 month delayed...is it something to be worried about
« Reply #60 on: February 07, 2012, 01:35:43 PM »
:'( help naman po, 3 times na po akong nagpPT and negative naman po yung resulta tapos po withdrawal method po kami ng bf ko. Last november i took althea pills and i had my regular period both november (tinigil ko rin this month yung pagtake ng pills)and december kaso etong january wala talaga. should have been around last 2 weeks ng january yung period kaso hanggang ngayon wala parin po. nakailang PT nako pero negative naman resulta. what's bother me is that i feel few changes in my body and paiba iba ang mood. medyo tumataba ako, breast tenderness & fatigue.di ko alam kung effect bato ng pills na tinake ko nung november o dahil sa layo ng byahe ko. makati to muntinlupa kasi trinatravel ko for studies.

ques po:
pregnant po ba pag malaki ng tyan but not the puson
- i dunno kung dahil sa pills o dahil ang lakas kong kumain xD
kapag my sticky fluid parin ba na lumalabas ibig sabihin negative?
-sabi kasi nila pag may sticky whitish fluid ba na lumalabas ibig sbihin negative daw un
mataas ba possibility sa active contact kahit withdrawal?
pardon my ignorance first time po kasi, first boyfriend din. so nangangapa talaga ako. saka graduating nako next year kea medyo kabado. xD sabi ko nga sa kanya tigil nalng muna.

I actually had the same experience. I was expecting my period last 2nd week of January and missed it. I did PT but negative. We visit my OB last week. Now, I'm 7 weeks preggy with our second child after almost 6 years. IE and blood test po na-confirm.

To give you peace of mind try doing sis Cesorio's suggestion.

share ko lang last tima na nagkaroon ako nung january 6 so dapat feb 6 or at least one week after meron na ako eh dumating ang march 1 wala pa din! i took a pregnancy test (medic) it was positive grabe i remember i was crying kay hubby kasi di pa namin plan. take note nag-pipills ako nun ha.. edi kami emote na although we know na it's a blessing for us kaso di pa kami handa na magka-baby ulit, CS ako then di pa kami tapos sa pag-aaral then wala pang 1 yr old yung baby namin.
Di pa rin ako pumunta sa OB ko kasi may doubts pa rin ako kasi 6 months ako nag-pills now lang nag-fail then sabi ko kay hubby bili siya ulit ng PT then ayun NEGATTIVE na .. I got more confused kaya i bought mga 5 PT's sa watsons yung tig-40 pesos.. 5 times ako nag-test ulit negative na ulit tas days after nagkaroon na ko .. :)

hi mga sis, I am confused right now. Last week, Saturday and Sunday, I did PT twice, the result was both positive. One day after, I experienced spotting that's why we rushed to ER at Our lady of Pillar, the doctor conducted IE and requested for urinalysis, the result for was positive also. The doctor advised me to have 2-3 days bed rest and  take Duphaston and Isoxilan for one week. The bleeding still continues for two days just like my regular menstruation. after two days the bleeding stop but I still have dark brown stain on my underwear. Then, yesterday, I visited my OB for prenatal check-up and informed to her what happened, she conducted IE and asked several questions regarding any symptoms for pregnancy, I told her I didn't experience one yet. After examining she told me that the lining of my uterus it not thick and scheduled me for ultrasound this coming April 21. Just this morning, because I am paranoid, I did PT again twice, I bought from mercury and the brand is Medic, the result was both negative..I'm so sad and confused right now.  What should I do?. Anyone who got same experience here? I would be glad to hear from you. Thanks.

In my experience usually accurate naman ang PTs. I had this experience just this January 2012 na on a hunch lang naman bumili ako ng 2 PTs. I took the first one ng gabi, faint pink lang yung second line. Took the second one the morning after, ganun pa rin, faint pa rin yung second line. OB I went to confirmed my pregnancy, nagulat pa kasi wala pang one month yun since my LMP, parang mga 3 weeks pa lang yata.  :)
Happy to be in #sabsuniverse.
