hello po mga mommies!

Any recommendation ng OB na affiliated sa St. Lukes QC and san po yung clinic niya? and magkano po ang aabutin ng expenses? Wala pa kasi akong OB diyan satin.. i'm 35 weeks (1st time MTB) and still here in singapore kaya thru online lang ako nakakapagresearch.. from cubao area po pala ako...

hope you can help me with this..

thanks and God bless! ^_^

Hi sis alsienna!

What? You're 35 weeks na?! Alam ko hindi na allowed mag-travel if you're that far along in your pregnancy, pero ilang hours lang naman rin yan. Anyway, I definitely recommend Dra. Regta Pichay, MD FPOGS PSGE. She has a clinic right there sa St. Luke's at the Cathedral Heights Bldg. 8th Floor North Tower Suite 813. She also has a clinic at East Avenue Medical Center. Pwede ka manganak either sa SLMC QC or sa Global City.

I'm not sure how much is her initial consultation fee, baka same lang as I'm paying right now (P400). She's very good and maalagain. You can talk to her about anything. With regards to birthing expenses, I have yet to find out the cost or their birthing packages. Hindi pa kasi ako nakakapag tour.

I hope everything is well with your pregnancy! :D

Ooh, I see. 1 week ka na lang! Go home na baka mabutan ka pa sa plane niyan! :D

I'll let you know the rates if I go there next week for a tour. I'll be giving birth probably sa SLMC QC too unless mag-promo ulit ang Global City. Hehe. If you have Phil.Health and health card ang laki ng tulong. Ako Phil.Health lang so sana malak parin ang ibawas. :D

hi sis! good morning!

Oo nga! Our judgment day is fast-approaching  ;D .. yung sa estimated costs na yan, di pa siguro nadeduct yung philhealth, noh? Pwede na rin, private room pa.. unlike dito sa Sg, pinaghahanda ako ng OB ko ng $7k (Php230k plus) for NSD.. kaloka! hahaha! kaya sabi ko uwi na lang ako ng Pinas ahihih!

super thanks for sharing... :)

does BIRTHING COST PACKAGE STILL EXIST?
« Reply #97 on: February 19, 2011, 08:15:13 pm »
Hello moms-to-be

I would like to ask kung meron pa bang existing packages ang hospital for birthing. I recently inquired with my OB-GYNE sa capitol and she said wala na daw package and she quoted 80,000 for normal and 110 for CS. I never thought that it is very expensive ng birthing cost sa Capitol Med.  My due date is on  MAy 30 and it would help kung meron mga moms-to-be here who give birth just this year to share how much they spend giving birth and saang hospital :)

hi mommy! yes there are hospitals who offer maternity packages for both normal and cs. When i gave birth via CS last 2007 sa TMC, i availed their maternity package. Inabot ako 80k inclusive na lahat and net of philhealth narin un. 3&1/2 days ako sa hospital tas nasa ob ward ako.

I'll send you a private message so you can tell her I referred you. :D You won't regret going to her! I'll be seeing her nga on the 28th again. :) I'll also do a tour with my Mom of the hospital and also to get their rates para sure. OC kasi ako. Haha!

Wow! Ang mahal pala talaga haha. It's almost like Global City! Pero sa SLMC GC kasi the room rates are the ones that will kill you! I plan on rooming in with baby so we don't have to pay for nursery charges. I will also bring my own supplies so I don't have to get from them (diapers, maternity pads, etc.).

I am hoping and praying for:
1. A normal spontaneous delivery without complications!
2. A big discount from my OBGYNE and Anesthesiologist since family friend naman.

Thanks for the info, sis!

Hello sis Im currently 27 weeks preggy  ;D. Nasa sg si hubby naiwan siya dun I returned here sa manila last January kasi 7K din yung quote ng OB ko sa Thomsom Medical :) tapos kakaloka na tuwing check up more or less 200 ang bayad.  Im gonna give birth sa Capitol Medical QC. First option ko kasi St Lukes but when I inquired about the rates medyo sobrang taas. :o

I gave birth last Feb. 23, 2011 to healthy baby boy at Chinese Gen. Hosp. via CS. My total hospital bill was P34k. Semi private room, 3 nights stay.
