hi mga mommies ..

ang mahal na pala manganak ngayon .. i hope someone already gave birth sa Delgado .. so i can have an estimate kung magkano magagastos ko .. my OB quoted me 40-50k nsd sa deldago .. i did not bother to ask the rate sa Veterans .. natatakot ako sa sobrang tahimik ng hospital eh .. i'm on my 25th week na .. habang may time pa to save ..

I gave birth last Feb. 23, 2011 to healthy baby boy at Chinese Gen. Hosp. via CS. My total hospital bill was P34k. Semi private room, 3 nights stay.

Sis, puwede bang malaman if may HIGH RISK OB din don..magagaling ba talaga mga doctor esp sa OB Dept. Kasi parang ang mura naman don.  I want to try din don in case ma-preggy ulit ako.. Thanks a lot.

My friend just gave birth last Sat in Marikina Valley Hospital. She spent P35,000 for normal delivery and 2 days stay. Her OB was Dra Dimatulac. Not bad!

@chester. Dra. Zamora, hindi ko memorized no.niya pero ask mo na lang sa operator. 9-12 and sched niya sa medical arts building 6th floor.

Mga sis, if you live in Makati, you can also try to apply for a green card in Makati Med.

around 18-20k yata for NSD and 34.5k for CS. *without complications* Just go there and ask where HSP (Health Service Program) is, tapos pag nandoon ka na, get a number dun sa guard sa labas ng Room 1. Pag tinawag ka, you'll be interviewed by a Social worker,

1. If you have work
2. If you have a healthcard
3. Do you have a private doctor in Makati Med (dapat wala)

Basically the questions are just to check if you qualify for the Green Card. Yung requirements na hihingin sayo will be based on your answers din pero eto yung nasa list of requirements (usually hindi lahat to nirerequire, depende sa social worker na nakausap mo ano ichcheck niya sa list) :

1. 2pcs 1x1 ID
2. ITR (yours or kay hubby)
3. Certificate of Indigency (kinukuha yata to sa munisipyo)
4. Photocopy of Philhealth card (or healthcard, if any)
5. Recent 1 month payslip (if you have work)

Ako ang hiningi sakin, yung ID Pics, Payslip tapos since may Maxicare ako, ni-require na magprovide ako ng certification from our HR na exluded ang maternity benefits dun sa Maxicare namin.

Tapos pag okay na requirements mo, punta ka lang ulit for the interview M-F 8-12nn and 1-4pm ang sched nila. usually pag complete na requirement mo, bigay din sayo yung green card that day.

Also, makakatulong din siguro if hindi ka masyado cute or mukhang prepared that day. ;-D

Medyo Madami tao kasi marami kumukuha and nagpapcheck up pero konting tiis lang :) For future use, pwede mo din siya magamit for any procedure other than maternity related concerns. 30% ata ang bawas for major procedures. and libre check up din for any concerns. :)

Hope this helps. :)

Ward lang pala to, pero ok naman ward sa MMC, and also mga Resident doctors ang magpapaanak, meaning kung sino available the time na manganganak na kayo, yun na yung doctor nyo. Pero okay naman feedback and magaling din and able naman the doctors for sure. Or if you have an OB in Makati Med, pwede din sila magrefer to your doctor for any instructions. Pero no pf for your OB na. kasi nga, naka-green card ka na so under ka na ng Charity Ward.

Nanganak dito friend ko wayback 2006, CS, 28k total bill niya, 19k less philhealth. :)

Hi im new here, nsa 18 weeks of pregnancy na ako, yung OB ko is Dra Jao or AMisola MAternity Hosp. kaso balak ko lumipat kay Dra. Sanggalang as per advised by my sister kasi OB nga daw niya yun at medyo mura ang delivery sa Chinese Gen compare sa Amisola. mga how much po kaya ang aabutin ko sa NSD less philhealth if kay Dra. Sanggalang ako mag papaanak.
Thanks

the rates will depend on your ob. advisable na naka-package but it will be best if you're prepared for the worst, or like ma-emergency cs (if supposed to be normal delivery ka). my ob quoted 45k for nsd sa feu. 60k for cs. pag sa medical city (she is affiliated to both), 50k yung nsd niya then 65k cs
