MEDICARD po covered nila maternity??

I don't think so. Medicard din ang health card namin sa office. Prenatal check up lang ang covered cause they are not treating pregnancy as a disease. Kaya yung check up fee ko lang ang nacocover. At least big help na din yun.

Sa medicard na maternity benefit, in our case it was negotiated as part of the contract.  10K for the first ten women employees who will give birth during the contract period.  Buti na lang pang 4 me kaya i can reimburse up to 10K. 

I've heard that some HMO providers include maternity benefits as part of the package although siyempre the premium is higher, kasi nga pregnancy is not considered an illness.

As for SSS, it's 30K for normal and 39K for CS, depende din sa monthly salary credit.  In our company, though they don't pay the usual wages as mentioned in previous post (quoted from Labor Code), they give an additional 20 days maternity assistance. Haayyy.. regardless, mahal pa din manganak. In madocs, I was quoted 90K CS private room + 10K if there would be complications arising from my hypertension.

Depende sa company sis. Sa amin we have maternity benefit of 45 working days with pay ( company rate not sss)..after 45 days if youre still on ML SSS rates na ibibigay sayo..at least may daily allowance ka pa rin..

MEDICARD din ang HMO namin and convered nila ang maternity ..depende ata yun sa company eh..wala me binayaran sa hospital nung nanganak ako sa Cardinal Santos..pero SSS lang ang natangap ko..

sis depende sa company, meron company na nagbibigaya ng 45 days leave with pay, meron ding hindi... inquire with your HR, pero sure ball ang sss pay, 45 calendar days for normal and 78 calendar days for CS.. the maximum rate is 500/day.

u're lucky sis cutebaby kase very rare sa companies ang nabibigay na ng sweldo apart from the SSS benefit.

depende talaga sa maternity benefits ng company natin mga mommies!

last 2006, filed my ML and apart from the P30K (additional P9K) from SSS, i get to withdraw every 15th & 30th of the month for the whole 78 days...

naku, mga mommies! reading your posts, i really consider myself very blessed.

i was on ML from day 1 (mga six weeks pregnant yata ako nun) I informed our company. per my ob's recommendation, i was on bed rest ("house arrest") the whole time i was pregnant. malayo din kasi place ko from my office and the ob thought na di kakayanin ng katawan ko ang daily travel.

I was on ML from then on until I gave birth. the whole time i was on ML, i received my monthly pay plus all other bonus/es in between. my company advanced my sickness and maternity benefits from sss so nakuha ko agad upon submission of necessary dox (baby's busy, operation record (cs kc ako), and dicharge summary). sarap nga eh - paid vacation :)

yun nga lang, mag re resign na rin ako. :(

depends sa company mu, nung naka-ML ko due to miscarriage, may salary pa rin ko every cut off aside pa sa SSS ko...so yun ginamit ko na pang alis alis para di ko maisip na nakunan ko...

just want to verify... di po ba ang maternity leave ay 60 calendar days (kung NSD ka). Kahit ba merong holiday na natapat during the period ng leave mo, 60 days pa rin ang ML mo? hindi maidadagdag yung holidays on top of the 60-day period?

yung holy week kasi matatapat sa ML ko, sayang din naman yung 3-day holiday pwede rin sanang pang-extend ng ML ko.. thanks!

yap counted lahat ng holiday na matatapat sa ML mo...calendar days kasi talga ang sinusunod ng SSS eh..
