Sis, in my case I didn't take any meds to be dilated! :) Just like what my OB told me, make love with hubby a week prior to due date para magdilate and then drink ginger tea (salabat) every morning or 3 times a day to be dilated! :) effective naman sa akin at less than 2 hours lang ako sa delivery room! :D

Nagtake din ako yun, as recommended by my OB, one week before yung due date ko. Ok naman siya.  Pero like mommy_cess di rin humihilab yung tiyan ko. 6cm na wala pa rin akong nararamdaman na kahit ano.

Hi mommies!

For me, Eveprim was very effective or siguro it was because I moved around a lot the whole week before I gave birth. I only took eight Eveprim soft tabs (I was advised to take one thrice a day by my OB) -- on the third day of taking it, I already gave birth! I got to the hospital around 7pm and by 1030pm, my daughter was out (after three pushes with no epidural -- the anesthesiologist didn't have time to give me the drugs because my labor was progressing so fast)! Maybe it also helped that I didn't lie down the WHOLE TIME I was in labor -- I just felt more comfortable standing up. I also had an easier time dealing with the pain standing up.

So if you have been prescribed with Eveprim, take it! But make sure that you would be doing a lot of moving and walking around!

Good luck, mommies! :)

hindi ako nagtake nito, takot kasi ako na baka mapaanak agad ako, hindi ko pa kasi gusto manganak ng May...buti nalang talaga dahil in less than a week nanganak ako at 39 weeks and 1 day AOG, pasok pa sa June, nakatipid pa ako ;)

i took eve primrose on my 37th week until my due date. hindi sya umepekto sakin. ngayon, yong baby ko may heart murmur or may singaw ang puso. napapaisip lang ako if baka may side effects yon sa baby.
