Civil Wedding requirements and procedures

Anybody here who knows the requirements for a civil marriage? im 26y/o and my partner is 24. Does my partner still need to have a parental consent? or pwede narin kahit wala nang parental consent? kc we're plannning it na kami lang dalawa sana at witness. ayaw n namin ipaalam sa families namin...Pwede narin ba sa mayor lang mgpkasal? kc i've heard na hindi nrin yata honored yung mayor na mgkasal...is it true?And mga how much ba pwede magastos? We have to have it ASAP kc aalis na sya by Dec. 1 ngaun 2008. Jz a simple civil marriage lang talaga plano namin.

Hi Tashiana's_mom!   My hubby & I had a civil marriage year 2005 at Hall of Justice. Requirements were birth certificates lang.. As for your partner, no need of parental consent na coz you're both at age na... 

Forgot na kung how much bayad namin for procecessing eh.. basta its more or less P2k.

talaga?2k lang! mura lang pala! meron pa bang seminars na kelangan attend-an?we're both very busy kc pero kelangan before sya umalis ng dec. 1, eh mkasal kami...madali lang ba yun? both of us are bicolanos but we're here in makati. san ba kami pwede mgpakasal?pwede nb sa judge lang or mayor?

pwede sa judge sis... alam ko my seminar yun... pero my kakilala ako sa na nagmamadali din magpakasal nagbigay(ng money) na lang para di na mag seminar.... ill ask her then pm kita...

family planning yung seminar na tinutukoy mo sis..yup, pwede din di umatend magbayad ka na lang. pwede sa judge pwede sa mayor magpakasal.

dito sa amin, we only require the tax community certificate of the couple and of the two persons who will stand as witnesses if you will be wed under Article 34. If you wish to apply for a marriage license, as mentioned above, you will need to present your birth certificate. It takes two weeks for the license to be released.

yong sa amin, nag-file pa kami ng marriage license and released after 12 working days, ito muna ang i-file kz di puwede ikasal sa civil pag wala to pero di na kinuha ang birth certificate namin kz right age na kami...di na rin kami nag seminar ng family planning, binayaran na namin ang certificate (may nakilala kz ako sa QC local registry at ginawa na rin namin witness)...judge ang nagkasal sa amin...our mothers knew na nagpa-civil kami pero di na sila nag-attend at di na rin niri-require ang parents to be present sa ceremony kz di na mga minors...letter of consent from parents kailangan lang yon pag mga minors ang ikakasal..

pag-apply nyo sa makati local registry ng marriage license, kausapin nyo na lang yong mag-a-assist sa inyo if may kilala syang judge na mai-refer sa inyo...mas maganda ang judge kaysa mayor, for me ha...

sister, you need CENOMAR both of you. you will get it sa NSO... requirement yun sa filing ng civil marriage nyo.. sa amin 2 seminar for DSWD and yun nga sa family planning...one day lang naman yun..

sis, you have to apply for a marriage license. forgot how much it cost. usually it takes 2 weeks to process the papers. no need for parental consent, parental advise na lang pero not a requirement talaga.
kami kasi sa judge nagpakasal... if may kakilala kayo paayos nyo na lang para mabilis kasi he would be leaving na soon. kasi kami mga 2 or 3 days before nun wedding, dun lang kami nakakuha ng judge (pinakisuyo naman sa cousins ni hubby since close friend nila un judge sa valenzuela)... M-F lang sila nagkakasal. i think if you want sa judge, may raffle pa sila sino judge magkakasal sa inyo so better if may kakilala kayo.

if mayor, not sure if may schedule sila na follow. check with the citihall near you. bsta wag ka magpapalakad sa hindi mo masyado kakilala kasi bka hindi talaga nila ayusin un papers nyo...perahan lang kayo so be careful too mommy tashiana

Hi there!!! Me and my hubby got married last year, September 2007 and the requiements are as follows:
1. Birth Certificate (the municipality is very strict with regards to birth certificate, make sure na registered or much better if you have NSO copies which is 140 pesos per copy)
2. CENOMAR (i know you are already familiar with this, you can file this also at NSO, 180 pesos i think, i dont know if nagtaas na sila ngayon)
3. Pictures (2x2 size, each of you should pass)
These requirements were from the civil registrar office. maybe it is much better if you will drop by there for the copy of requiements.
4. You should also attend the seminar
It is very difficult to file for a marriage license marami kasing mga requirements. pag minalas ka pa matapat sa masungit na staff dun. kaya todo pasensya na lang kahit kung tutuusin trabaho nila un...

   Pls, help, anyone knows what are the requirmnts para sa civil wedding at paano yung procedures, kelangan ba mag aaply muna ng marriage license bago pakasal or sila na mag aayos nun,, paano yung urgent and hasle free na civil wedding,, how much cost?? also pareho kameng 25 years ol kelangan ba ng parents consent or parents advice???   thank you sa lahat ng sasagot godbless

hi sis..kami kasi nagpa civil wed nuon pang 2003.ang tanda ko...ewan ko kung tama talaga ha?
pupunta kayong dalawa sa munisipyo nyo,,mag aapply ng marriage liscence.dala ka na rin busy nyong dalawa....after nun.may family planning pa rin kahit 25 yrs.old na kayo.pwera na lang kung nurse/doctor ka.after non....sa kasal na.alam ko 3 copies yung papel.1-munisipyo,1-sa magkakasal at 1-personal copy mo yun
sis di ko alam kung tama ha?basta yan yung tanda ko e hehe..wait mo na lang iba inputs para may mapag compare ka.goodluck!!!

hi sis! sa pagkakaalam ko you need to have/be:
1. at least 18 years of age
2. solemnizing officer
3. 2 witnesses of legal age
4. marriage license

Reqt for the Marriage license:
- 18-21 (parents consent) notarized
- 21-25 (parents advise) notarized
- marriage counselling certificate
- 2x2 pictures (each party)
- NSO authenticated birth certificate (with photocopy)
- If you were previously married (annulment certificate)
- application fee
