Hallo mga mommies!

I found this in the internet:

Welcome to the home page of Safeperiod calculator

Safe period calculator helps you to find out the safe days that you can make love without fear..In natural way you can avoid pregnancy by remembering some dates. By simply giving your last period date and longest and shortest period cycle, SAFE PERIOD CALCULATOR finds out the safe and unsafe dates of your menstrual life cycle
How to find out Longest and shortest period cycle??

You have to note your period for at least 6 months and note the number of days between starting date and the next period. Then identify longest and shortest period cycles
To calculate safe and unsafe dates

If a women's menstrual cycle varies from 26days to 31days cycle, The shortest cycle [26days] minus18days=8th day. The longest cycle [31days] minus 10days=21st day Thus, 8th to 21st day of each cycle counting from first day of menstrual period is considered as fertile period. That is UNSAFE PERIOD.Period other than this fertile period in a menstrual cycle is considered as SAFE PERIOD

Source Link: http://aliveprojects.com/apps/safeperiodcalculator/

But yes, I have also heard about the 5-day rule...
Which means that you are safe 5days before your anticipated period and 5days within your period...
For example you have an average of 28-day cycle and your period last November for example was 7th November, then your SAFE DAYS are November 7-11 and November 30-December 04... The rest is considered fertile period or UNSAFE DAYS
Note that this is applicable for women who have REGULAR MONTHLY PERIOD.

Hope this helps...

Happy parenting and God Bless!

http://www.natural-family-planning.info/standard-days-method.htm

Ituloy mo ang counting from the 8th to 19th day.  Isulat mo ang "19" sa Dec. 28. Bilugan mo rin.

Guhitan mo (single overstrike) mula sa 8th day mo hanggang 19th day.  Consider these as your fertile days, Dec. 17 to 28.  Avoid penetrative sex.  Pwede mag-bonding, mag-cuddle o kahit na mas intimate pa...basta huwag mag-all-the-way.

If you notice, 12 days ito ha.  Hindi naman ito absolute.  Estimate lang ito based sa research on those with 26 to 32 days cycle (Georgetown University, Washington).  Ang ibig sabihin, it's very possible na hindi ka pa naman fertile on some of these days. And estimated na safe days mo ay Dec. 10 to 16...Dec. 29 and until the next menstruation period.

@OFW - Online Filipino Worker

Ovulation o peak day ang isa pang tawag dito.  According to Dr. Jay Goldberg, Ob-Gyn, 14 days daw bago ang susunod na mentruation period ang ovulation day.

Source: Video of interview with Dr. Jay Goldberg, Ob-Gyn:

Ovulation. http://www.videojug.com/interview/ovulation

Kaya sinasabing fertile din before the ovulation or peak day ay dahil nagsisimula nang maging mas visible ang cervical mucus (white mens).

Yes fertile pa rin, pero one day after the ovulation day lang.

Check out the chart here below and see.

Eto po yung situation niya: In 6 consecutive months yung shortest cyle niya daw is 26days, then yung longest is 43days. Sabi niya din wala naman po siyang na notice na slippery mucus down there when they make love with her bf nung Day 6 at Day 11?

What do you think po safe days po ba yun?

here's the computation:

for first fertile day: shortest cycle - 18 = 26-18= 8. Beginning with day one of the current cycle, count out 8 days on the calendar. Mark it with an "X". Include Day 1 when you count the day.

for last fertile day: longest cycle - 11 = 43-11= 32. Beginning with the first day of the current cycle, count out 32 days.

or para mas madali you can download the Victoria Woman's Calendar. Its like a software to beinstalled to your PC para hinde na mahirap magcompute. All you need is to store your first day of bleeding and it will predict your future menstruation and your fertile days too. Note that you need atleast 8 months para maging mas accurate un predictions. its a freeware but its a trial software lang kaya minsan nadedeactivate but you can redownload it and reinstall. here's the link: http://www.executivpro.com/victoria/products.htm

Recently lang ako naging conscious in taking note of my period for birth control. pwede ko na ba maestimate ang safe period with these data. first day of my period for Dec is Dec. 7, then January is January 6 and for February naman is Feb. 4. Does this mean starting na yesterday ang fertile period ko?

Hi msals2007

Thanks so much Daddy Jojo. Kinabahan ako kasi yung ibang binabasa ko, yung 8th day is start na ng unsafe period. Pero kung sa estimate mo is feb 15 pa ang start, so thats 12 days after my first day of period pa. Now i'll be more conscious with my period and discharge para hindi na ko kabahan
