To add,these are what we had in the party program: Events host, live band,AVP which was the highlight featuring the milestones of her life,song and dance numbers from her grandchildren ,short and sweet anecdotes from family and friends and thank you speech from the celebrator.

^ Sharing my MIL's 80th birthday celebration.Color motif was gold (with some red accents).Theme was  more of a flower garden.Give-aways/souvenirs were pretty flower brooches with rhinestones packaged in shimmery gold pouches.The party was a surprise party ,also.She was clueless and we were able to pull it off. Create a team to accomplish the secret mission :)

Hello,Sis! Your preferred location within Q.C.. houses many events venues ,clubhouses and restaurants.However,where the issue of budget is concerned,would be another question.To mention some would be , Patio and Plaza Ibarra located in Timog and Quezon Ave.,The Function Room near ABS-CBN,Phil-Am Clubhouse,Sta.Rita de Cascia Social Hall in Phil-Am life Homes, Cravings in Katipunan.These venues however,require a substantial amount to rent.
You can try Max's in Quezon Ave. , Sct.Castor and Quezon Memorial Circle,Shangrila Chinese Restaurant and Kowloon Restaurant both in West Ave.
There is also one venue I discovered which is very near our place.I was surprised that the place was clean ,new,with very nice function rooms and had amenities and freebies ; food was tasteful owing to the Reyes/Aristocrat Legacy  .The place is however,located in West Fairview,Q.C.The place is called SunRoom Cafe.The drawback for me for this place is that it is located infront of a mini wet market   and that diminishes it's charm.I am not connected with this resto/venue,I'm just making this suggestion for budget-conscious moms.
