1st Birthday Party - 2nd thread

Hi to all mommies.. Katatapos lang ng birthday ni briel.
I will make kwento hehe..

Saturday inayos na namin lahat ng need namin dalhin sa venue kinabukasan. Mga 10:30Pm din sinimulan ko na gwin yun centerpiece ko. 1 1/2 hr namin natapos lahat ako taga gawa si hubby and a sister was the one pumping the balloons. Kaya we made it! hahaha..

9am nasa shakeys na ako to arrange yun mga DIY ko such as frames, kiddie activities, loot bags and prizes, pica pica bar na super natuwa ako sa set up buti andun bro-in-law ko na expert sa catering hahaha.. Bomonga ang set up ng pica pica bar and cake table. Lahat ng guest super nabusog sa pica pica palang daw wala na busog na sila though naubos nila pati food ng shakeys. The party was very dun. Sabi ng mga guest ang cozy daw and great ng venue. pati mga shakey's staff sus naki party samin which for me OK lang kasi they assisted naman and well abang sa mga utos ko hahaha. I have own emcee kasi kaya tuwa si ate (emcee ng shaleys) na wala na sya gagawin haha nag assist nalang sa sound system... and prizes..,

1. Shakey's makati Ave.
Peso Power: 154 * 80 pax plus 1500 for henny and mr shakeys mascot.
- medyo me palpak sila isa lang naman wala silang ligther or posporo para sindihan yun candle sa cake ni briel. Buti alert si friend emcee nagpa wish wish muna sa mga kids while waiting.. The fact na nakacharge sa kanila ang cake from iko's. Two staff nalang din nag assist sa party lalo magserve ng food. Siguro ganun talaga kasi nun pack up time nalang tsaka nag akyatan yun iba para tumulong mag linis.

Over all.. Im satisfied naman kasi mababait sila. Nagkakainitan lang dati sa preps kasi magulo sila kausap dahil nun una di nila nalista yun aug 1 na birthday ng baby ko sa log nila pero sa isang record meron naman, tapos medyo me mga things na di daw pwede na naging pwede naman.. Pero Ok padin sila compare sa ibang branch na nababasa ko here..

2. Ikos-
Peso Power: 3200 ( cake and 70 pcs cup cakes- 24 dun free)
Waaaaa bat ganun yun topper usapan namin 3D na ulo ni elmo.. tsaka yun diniliver nila yun cake di pa nakatusok yun topper na face.. Kami pa nagset up di ri kami tinulungan ng Shakey's... Niready lang ng shakeys yun table... Kami pa nag ayos. Pero accomodating nga din sa utos ang shakeys kaya OK na carry na..

I rate ikos sa cake design 3/5. pasang awa..

pero sa taste!!!! 5++++++++++++++ YUMMY!!!!! pati cup cake.. masaya naman ako sa cup cake design. Over all masaya naman ako sa cake! Ika nga kesa mastress ako diba.. Sa worth na 1195 for that cake at sa yummy carry na!!!! Maybe kasi icing yun cake ko mas maganda siguro yun kapag fondant na ayaw ko naman ng fondant

3. Bukas Palad Sorbetes- They were LATE! as in LATE!!! 1 HR LATE! call time nila is 10am 11 na dumating dapat cocktail sila pero wala na. Ok nadin kasi if andyan pa sila while cocktail baka di naubos ang pica pica ko sa dami ng food hehe.. 9 gallons of 3 flavor ice cream (dirty ice cream) at 2200 sulit!
I rate them 3/5 also.. dahil late sila!

4.Nice print-
Peso Power: 9k with album and 11X14 framed pix.

What I can say.. Lagi need mo mag follow up and magremind sa office ng mga bilin para manote nila. madali naman silang kausap yun lang dapat makulit ka period. Wala di ko pa nakita yun pix e wala pako masabi. Pero sa service naman ni Jeff as photog sa event 5/5 na...

5. Mr Balloonatix
peso Power: 3500 for pillar, ceiling decor, standee and free cake arc and 20 pcs balloons on straw.

I rate them 4.7/5 why? perfect kasi sana kaso me namiss si Jojo yun pillar walang mga long balloons sa ibabaw na pinagaya ko sa kanya at yun request ko na free cloud balloon sa middle ng ceiling wala din. Pero Ok na kasi masaya naman kami at guest. napansin ko nalang nga yun yun patapos na e. Meaning OK padin. Sa standee parang di ako masyado masaya.. pero OK na din di ata napicturan namin yun standee nila elmo at cookie monster sa nice print baka nakuhanan.
pedro highly recommended padin si Jojo... Super bait. and galing. Siguro namiss ko din na imake sure uli sa kanya na yun pinagawa ko masunod tsaka siguro if napansin ko agad nun while nag aayos sila nasabi ko agad sana baka nahabol pa nila yun sa tuktuk nun pillar at could balloon. madali lang naman kasi kausap si Jojo..

Pag ka end ng party hala parang bulang naubos ang mga lobo hahaha..

6. face paint- Buti pa si ate christy ang aga.. OK naman yun face paint medyo pail lang yun color ng unti regalo kasi ito kaya di ko masabi magkano na.. at marate kasi baka nga naman kaya pail yun color na gamit kasi yun price ganun.

7. Invitation- sa Simply Prints sa divisoria. sa gitna. 600 pesos lahat. 12 pesos each. ganda ng printing super ganda!

7. DIY- Centerpiece, pica pica, loot bags, tarp, invitations layout, guest sheet, frames.. 5+++++++++++++++++

Hi mommies share ko nalang din ito..

I wasn't able to read this message to him because I forgot to print it the day before his birthday. I was planning to write it down instead because of a lot of things that I have to do on the event day, I just realized that time flied so fast and here's the start of the program already coming.

I didn't had the time to write it down and read it in front of all the guests especially to BRIEL.
I am now posting it so that someday he might come across my multiply site and read it. Here it goes.

You were given to us unexpectedly. We were shocked initially when the test results
proved to be positive. I even asked your papa to buy another test kit to verify it because
we planned to have you a year after papa and I got married because we want to be ready
enough for you to have a good beginning. But God has planned it differently.
He want you to be with us that soon.

I began to love you even before I felt you. I made sure I will deliver you safely and healthy. I stopped what i had to stop doing just because it's not good for you. Because We (papa and mama) loves you.

By the time you reached 33 weeks, you wanted to come out. But it was not safe because you might have not survived. Remember I told you during our 3-day stay in the labor room without visitors allowed just the two of us and the medical staff that you have to stay inside my womb for few more weeks and help me stop the contraction? We even both pray to God that He will help us stay safe, and Yes we did! After 10 days of fighting, Yes we did it!

On your almost 40th week, 2 days before your 40th week to be exact, You came out healthy.. I even saw you at the delivery room.. Tears rolled down my eyes.. Those tears of joy when I saw you. Papa and your lolo and lola even saw you taking your first bath at the nursery room.

Just then we promised you.. We will give all our best to make you become a good child and eventually a good man by teaching you what God's want you to become. For we know in His hands you will become a boy that we all love.

Now at One, we wish you to continue make us laugh. As you grow, be respectful to others. Be friendly to all children for God loves you all. We wish you to become a child that respect the fact that God created everybody with equal rights. And most of all the only wish I want us to become even though you weren't with us yet is I want us
to be best friend forever! Dapat ako lang ang first best friend mo. I wish you could see me later on as a cool mom. Dont be afraid to share with me your thoughts and ideas.
Even your first crush... Whatever God has planned for you, whatever path He wants you to
go thought, papa and mama is always at your back supporting you.

Actually ginawa ko yun letter nun weekday. Tapos bigla i changed my mind kasi naiiyak na ako nun sinusulat ko yun what more if babasahin ko na. E para drumama pa e. Tapos yun nga hahaha nagdecide ako nun saturday na sige basahin ko narin e kaso ayun sa sobrang busy nakalimutan iprint.. nakalimutan din copyahin sa papel nun sunday hehe

3 lang sila. oo mabilis sila in 1 1/2 hr done na sila kasi yun iba naman pre-inflated na set up nalang yun gawa nila..
