O'Dea International School
« on: March 06, 2008, 10:45:02 am »
We visited this school in Makati last Friday, and we are planning to send my two boys to this school.  But we want to hear comments first.

Any feedback on this school?  Thanks in advance

Hi! Last year, I also inquired at this school (for summer play school). I also took my toddler with me to see if she liked the school, and she did.

However, when I came back to enroll her, the cashier/registrar (I'm not sure if that's her position, but she was the one handling the fees) was asking for an amount which was twice the fee of the first quote she gave me. I don't recall the amount now, but let's say, for example that the first amount she said when I visited with my daughter was P3,500...when I came back she was saying that it was P7,000.

When I said that she gave me a P3,500 quote, she said no, that my daughter's class cost P7,000. I pointed to their "price list", which had a P3,500 amount there for summer classes. She said no, that was for 4 years and above (my daughter was 2 years 10 months old at that time). When I said that she hadn't pointed that out to me the first time, she got defensive and acted as if I was really the one mistaken.

So...I didn't enroll my daughter there last year for play school. I could have let it pass, but I really don't like such financial "issues".

But....that's just my experience. Maybe yours will be better. :)
