Your child may have a mild case of gastro-esophageal reflux (when the contents of the stomach tend to come back up the esophagus and out the mouth). This condition is usually nothing serious. More than half of all babies under the age of 3 months have it because babies’ digestive systems are still developing—most outgrow it by a year or so.
