If you own a micro business, defined as a business with small set-ups earning anywhere between P500 and P5,000 a day, did you know that you’re actually contributing to the nation’s growth?
According to the National Statistics Office (2005), micro businesses comprise 91% of the country’s businesses. They’re vital to the growth of the Philippine economy.
These enterprises, which are mostly involved in wholesale and retail trade, are responsible for 32% GDP and are expected to generate 3 million new jobs.
