Maybe you're born that way and have always been larger than other girls growing up. You might have masked body-shaming words with softer ones such as "big-boned" or "chubby." Or maybe you've just given birth and you still have not shed your pregnancy weight and it looks like those love handles are there to stay for good. That's okay. It's your body and you have to love it, so embrace your curves!
Enough of the skinny women traditional fashion magazines feature; it's time to get a new peg. Model and body positivity advocate Ashley Graham was in the country to help host the Miss Universe 2016 pageant last month. She is living proof that it's possible to be stylish even when you're blessed with curves. Heed her fashion tips:
1. Draw the eyes to an elegant décolletage with an off-shoulder neckline.
2. That hourglass figure *needs* to be highlighted. Go for nipped-waist and body-con dresses that put the focus on your shape.
