LOOK: First-Ever Underwear That Offers Dads Built-in Protection 'Down There'Boxers or briefs? Well, why not choose this underwear offers a little extra something for dads.by Rachel Perez .
We often see it in funny parenting videos: dads groaning in pain because their toddler, whose head is just the perfect height to their privates, were too eager to get a hug when they arrive home. The dads attempt to cover the said parts, but crumble into a fetal position just the same because their child accidentally kicked their “balls” while sleeping, or as they jumped on the bed for a morning wakeup call.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Well, thanks to this new innovative product, dads can freely be hands-on, without any impediment or hesitation, even pain. The company Fridababy has just made available on the market the world’s first-ever kid-proof underwear, FridaBalls, which is “equipped with a reinforced protective pouch to soften the blow and keep dad’s buddies safe” from “love taps,” as they called it.
“FridaBalls is the boxer brief designed to add branches to your family tree,” according to the company's website. Every pair is just like any underwear you’d want to buy – it’s made of breathable fabric (98-percent polyester and 8-percent Spandex) “to keep things fresh” and a “never-slip secure waistband” so it stays in place on your waist even when dad is running after his kid.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
It even promises to protect your future with its patent-pending Heirloom Conservation Technology (we’ve searched the company’s website for what exactly this new technology does, but we can’t seem to find it). Based on their promotional video, perhaps this technology helps maintain a specific optimum temperature for dad’s future little swimmers.
You might think this product isn’t real, but rest assured that it is. FridaBalls underwear is real, and it comes in four sizes: from Small (for 28- to 30-inch waistlines) to Extra Large (for 38- to 40-inch waistlines). The protective pouch comes in a one-size-fits-all capacity and there is no other color option than gray. It’s available to purchase on Fridababy’s website, Amazon, and BuyBuyBaby. It will set you back about Php 1,500 a pair.
Fridababy is a legit company that offers many baby essentials other than this practical underwear for dads. Comments from social media posts say it had sold out before, but the company has since restocked. Some moms claimed they had ordered it for their partner as a Father's Day gift, which is actually a good idea.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
We can't argue with the premise for the product. Parenting, after all, is a contact sport – having a toddler is a health hazard. Sure, ball kicks or love taps can be excruciating for dads, but moms also get accidental punches and kicks (just saying). We just need to take a deep breath, keep calm, and carry on. So, dads, if you receive this awesome gift, show your thanks to your wife and tend to the kids for a whole day.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
