How to make Magical Chicken Lollipops
Kids love fried chicken any time, any day. You need to take note of the tendency for the chicken to taste bland or dry when not adequately seasoned and prepared. You can use MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®, and a bit of black pepper and paprika to make your chicken lollipops tasty and yummy in every bite.
Ingredients
- 9 pcs chicken lollipops (drummettes or wing part, lollipop-style)
- 1 sachet MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 4 cups vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups preferred dipping sauce
Procedure
- Season chicken with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®, black pepper, and paprika.
- Coat each piece with flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat well with bread crumbs. Set aside.
- Fry chicken in preheated oil until golden brown. Set aside to drain excess oil. Transfer on a serving plate and serve with dipping sauce.
How to make Magical No-Bake Macaroni
Baked macaroni is another no-fail holiday dish. However, not all are experienced with baking or have ovens, for that matter. Try this no-bake version that has all the things kids love about the dish: macaroni, sweet red sauce, yummy ground beef deliciously seasoned with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®, hotdogs, and lots and lots of cheese!
Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/4 kg fresh grounded pork
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup banana catsup
- 1/2 cup sliced hotdogs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 sachet MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 kg elbow macaroni
- 1 pack 125-ml NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
- 6 tbsp grated cheese
Procedure
- Sauté garlic, onion, and ground pork in oil. Add tomato sauce, catsup, and hotdog. Pour water and simmer. Season with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and brown sugar. Set aside.
- Boil pasta according to package direction.
- Strain elbow macaroni and toss in the sauce. Transfer on a serving container.
- Gently heat NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Pour on top of the macaroni. Put cheese on top and let it melt with the heat of the pasta and the sauce. Serve immediately.
How to make Supreme Sarap Embutido-Style Meatballs
For an easy-to-eat embutido for Christmas, how about turning them into meatballs with little quail eggs inside? What’s great about this recipe is that the embutido meatballs remain moist and juicy since they are simmered in a savory sauce made with MAGGI® SUPREME SARAP and MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®.
Ingredients
For the meatballs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 pack 125-ml NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
- 1 kg fresh grounded pork
- 1 pc carrot, diced
- 3 tbsp pickle relish
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 pc red bell pepper, diced
- 1 pc green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 sachet MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
- 1 sachet MAGGI® SUPREME SARAP
- 36 quail eggs, boiled and peeled
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
For the sauce
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 pc onion
- 1 cup water
- 1 sachet MAGGI® SUPREME SARAP
- 1 sachet MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
- 2 tbsp cornstarch, mixed in a little bit of water
- 2 tbsp chopped spring onion
Procedure
- In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, egg, and NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Set aside for 2 minutes.
- Add pork, carrot, pickle relish, raisins, bell peppers, and cheese into the cream mixture. Season with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP® and MAGGI® SUPREME SARAP. Mix well.
- Scoop a certain amount of the pork mixture and flatten it on your palm. Place quail egg in the center, and wrap tightly with the meat mixture. Repeat until all meatballs are assembled
- Sauté meatballs in oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Make the sauce by sautéing garlic and onion in the same pan. Pour water and season with MAGGI® SUPREME SARAP and MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®. Bring it to a simmer. Stir in cornstarch and water mixture to thicken the sauce.
- Place back sautéed meatballs and simmer for five minutes while basting with the cooking liquid. Transfer on a serving platter and top with spring onion. Serve warm.
